Legacy World Missions needs your help to stop the suffering of so many Ugandan kids, orphaned and
vulnerable from war and disease. Donations are important, but there's so much you can do that
doesn't cost a penny.
Here's five ways you can make a difference today:
1. Add us on MySpace. Legacy World Missions has a MySpace page, and chances are, you or someone
you know has one as well. Add Legacy and put us in your top friends. It's a great way to spread
the word with almost no effort at all!
2. Email your friends. Sure, nobody likes spam email, and we'd never ask you to do that to the
people you love. But if you send five emails a day, include a link to LegacyWorldMissions.org in
just one of them. By directing your friends to visit our site, you're helping to increase
awareness about the children in Uganda who so desperately need our help, and what we're doing
to end their suffering.
3. Use an instant messenger program? Put our link in your away message. That way you're getting
the word out without lifting a finger!
4. Share at church, school or work. You can download our mission statement or brochure, print a
few copies of each and pass them out out during your regular daily activities. Tell your friends
and colleagues that you learned about an organization getting help to some of God's most vulnerable
children, and you want to tell them about it. You don't have to hold their attention or give a
speech, just hand out our brochure.
5. Organize! Hold a fundraiser with your youth group. We'll be happy to provide you with a photo
slideshow and all the materials you need to tell your community about Legacy World Missions. It's
a great way to build teamwork and friendship while working to help kids half a world away.
